Lindsay became a member of the Michigan Flyers in 2019 and earned all of her certificates in club airplanes. She studied engineering at The Ohio State University but discovered her passion for flying and has pursued a full time career in aviation ever since. She has completed mountain flying courses in the Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountains and enjoys building time with fellow pilots. She looks forward to helping you achieve your aviation goals.

Austin began flying in 2012 and joined the Michigan Flyers in 2018. He holds a Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) certificate with endorsements in Tailwheel, Complex, and High Performance aircraft. Austin has an engineering degree from Virginia Tech and is a member of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators.

Noah began flying in 2020 here in Southeastern Michigan. He is a graduate of Northwestern Michigan College's aviation division and has spent time flying in Traverse City and the surrounding Northern Michigan region. Noah's experience as a Certified Flight Instructor includes Complex and High Performance aircraft endorsements. He is also an active member of AOPA. Daniel began flying in 2020 in Tucson, Arizona, which sparked a strong passion in pursuing a career in aviation. Since then, he has accumulated many hours flying locally and out of state with friends and family. He is currently at Michigan State University, and plans to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising. He is very excited to help you achieve your aviation goals!

Claire began flying in 2019 in her hometown Champaign, IL where her mother, an International Flight Attendant, encouraged her to pursue flight training. She joined Michigan Flyers in 2022 and received all of her certificates in the Ann Arbor Area. She graduated from University of Michigan in 2020 with degrees in International Studies and Spanish. Claire is the President of the Ann Arbor Women in Aviation Chapter, and is passionate about supporting and empowering pilots of all identities.

Bob learned to fly almost 45 years ago with a military flying club. Following a break, he returned to active flying with the Michigan Flyers. Bob is a Principle Engineer and Functional Safety lead for autonomous driving at Toyota by day and a part time CFI. He loves to fly and has experience with taildraggers, aerobatics, ultralights, skydiving and hang gliding. He also teaches aspiring pilots online through Aviation Tutors (aviationtutors.net).

Matthew started flying at the Michigan Flyers in 2019 and has since gained extensive experience as a flight instructor and commercial pilot. He holds a degree in Aviation Management from Western Michigan University and an FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor certificate. With 2,000+ hours of flight instruction, Matthew tailors his approach to each student, ensuring they build strong skills and are prepared for the real-world demands of aviation. Mary Claire learned how to fly in 2017 at Michigan Flyers. She is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a BBA and Finance and Business Management. Upon graduating from college, she has worked to build flight time in Southern Michigan and coastal Florida, in pursuit of a full-time aviation career. Justin got his foot wet in aviation in 2015 as a Flight Attendant for a major airline. Desiring a new challenge, in 2016 he began flight training in Three Rivers, MI in a Piper Cherokee. He started to pursue instrument training in early 2020 at Michigan Flyers. Due to COVID, the airline granted time off that enabled him to complete his training with ATP at KIWA Mesa Gateway, Phoenix, AZ. He joined Michigan Flyers as an instructor in October 2021. He is a current member of AOPA and NGPA.

Alex has been flying since high school and was recently awarded the FAA’s Wright Brothers Master Pilot award for 50 years of safe flying. He has significant experience in Barons, Bonanzas, all single-engine piston Cessnas, as well as Champ/Citabria/Scout tailwheel aircraft. He has owned a number of aircraft over the years and currently co-owns a B55 Baron. He is a graduate of the American Bonanza Society Flight Instructor Academy and an active member of the National Association of Flight Instructors. He is an A&P mechanic and maintains his own aircraft.
